The September 2025 Lineworker training is full.

Applications for the September 2026 training will open January 9, 2026. Interviews will be held in late April 2026 to determine who is accepted, with a gear fitting in July 2026.

2025 Lineworker Training Class

September 2-January 15, 2025

Monday - Thursday

7:30 am-3:30 pm

Includes: Basic Electricity Transformer Installation Pole Climbing, Distribution Systems

Certificates included in class: OSHA 10, Confined Space Training, Forklift Safety Certification

Tuition $3,100 for lineworker training

CDL Class A training held in Shawnee in February provided by Central Tech Center. Tuition for CDL Class A is $4,300

Those who qualify may receive scholarships and training assistance. Applicants must be 18 years old and a high school graduate.
