Educational Enhancement Center
Visits to the Education Enhancement Center (EEC) are a scheduled part of the coursework at Gordon Cooper Technology Center. The EEC offers personalized instruction designed to teach students job readiness skills. Through self-paced lessons, the EEC provides assistance in basic competencies such as math, literacy and workplace readiness as well as building work maturity skills, resume writing, portfolio building, job application procedures, and personal finance.
Designed by ACT®, the company that developed the ACT® assessment college entrance exam, WorkKeys® measures communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills valuable to any occupation--- skilled or professional. Depending on their scores, individuals are awarded a platinum, gold, silver or bronze Career Readiness Certificate. These portable skills, which are nationally recognized, can be used to get a job and to advance in your career.
