STEM Day Challenge
The Pre-Engineering Academy (PEA) from Gordon Cooper Technology Center is hosting a STEM Day Challenge on December 5, 2025 and are inviting teams of 6th thru 9th graders from schools in our district to join us. This is a great project for a STEM or science class. If you would like to form a team or get more information, contact [email protected].
Teams are greatly encouraged to partner with GCTC students from their school or area to help them with rules and the design process, to gain access to CAD an 3D printing resources, and possibly aid in coaching the team.

This year GCTC will be awarding over $600 in prizes to the top teams.
We have a sponsor that has generously donated a classic 1965 Ford Mustang GT (HLM78-4B10) to the overall champion.
Another sponsor has donated a custom built 2008 Ford Mustang GT Tjaarda 550R, HNW46 (similar to the one in the Fast and Furious movie).
