GCTC Hosts 2022 Rocket Man Run

 

SHAWNEE, Okla. – Gordon Cooper Technology Center hosted its 2022 edition of the Gordon Cooper Technology Center Foundation Rocket Man Run Saturday.

134 runners resisted to take part in the 5K run that serves as the main fundraiser for the Gordon Cooper Technology Center Foundation. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on solving short-term emergency needs for students so they can focus on their education and future.

Cheyenne Deathrage of Tecumseh, Okla., was the top overall finisher, completing the course in 20 minutes and 58.04 seconds. Jamie Reed, of Shawnee, was the top female finisher with a time of 24:45.90.
