Mr. Crain of Prague is a lifetime resident of this area. He received automotive training after graduation from high school and served in the Army. He was a Shawnee police officer before serving as an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, firearms instructor and supervisor. After retirement from OHP at age 40, Crain started a highway construction business. The business is now owned by his daughter and covers 11 states.Crain is a deacon at Prague First Baptist Church and presently serves on the Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative board and the Western Farmers Electric Generation board of directors.He feels Gordon Cooper Technology Center successfully serves the needs of people in the entire area. Crain said he brings a willingness to learn, experience and perseverance to the board.
