Dr. Dean Evans

 

Dr. Dean Evans is the Zone 1 representative who was appointed to serve in June of 2006 and was most recently elected to new a term in 2024.

 

Dr. Evans is an optometrist with a practice in Chandler, Okla. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in vision science from Northeastern State University in 1986. He earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern in 1988.

 

His previous work experience includes a private practice in Ponca City. Dr. Evans also has experience as a staff optometrist for Moore Eye Center in Moore, Okla., and Luck Optical in Forth Worth, Texas before opening a private practice in Chandler in 1994.

 

He served as past president of Chandler Chamber of Commerce and race director for the Bell Cow Run sponsored by the Chamber. He also served as past president of the Chandler Lions Club and serves as a board member for the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians.

 

Dr. Evans and his wife, Cindra, have four children.
