2341 Sprockets

The mission of FIRST is to provide life changing robotics programs that give young people the skills, confidence, and resilience to build a better world. 

 

FRC is a program in which the students, with help from mentors, design, build, and program a competitive robot for a specific set of tasks. Each year the rules and tasks change; combining the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology.

The Sprockets are an 18-year team consisting of students from the Pre-Engineering Academy and the Machining Program at Gordon Cooper Technology Center.  In the last 18 years, we have reached over 6 million people directly through our outreach events and media.
