my name is Caleb Higgins and I go to McLoud High School. My career plans after this, I plan on going to the EMT program. Mr. T is helping me get this scholarship, and then after that I'm planning on being a firefighter, and going to OSU OKC firefighting program. Hi my name is Ryann Whitnah I go to Wellston High School. My career plans are to go into the field of forensics, and get a job as a forensic psychologist. I decided to come to Gordon Cooper because of this program. This program had everything I wanted, and I've seen that. A typical day in our program; we start out usually with uniforms twice a week, and then we do PT, and then after that will do our academics. Hi I'm Matthew Bottoms I go to Strother High School. I'm currently a private first-class in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, as well as a volunteer firefighter with the Strother Volunteer Fire Department and work as an unarmed private security officer. My future plans are to get into the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. I decided to come to Gordon Cooper because I wanted to get into shape for the military as well as prepare myself for a career in law enforcement. My name is Kendra Perrien and I go to McLoud High School. My career plan for after Gordon Cooper is to apply for the Naval Academy, and hopefully get in, and then I want to go through Aviation, and hopefully in the end run be a fighter jet pilot. I'd tell somebody that you don't have to be in the best shape, we have people that come in here, I came in here way overweight, and I lost the weight. We will get you there. I think Gordon Cooper can help me reach those career goals because this provides a lot of structure, and it makes you have like a day-to-day routine. I think that's always good, especially for the military because they're very strict, and you have to go according to how they want to, by the book, and I think this structure is good for that.
