The Carpentry and Masonry Trades

This career pathway is designed for job-ready or direct placement employment in the following occupational areas: carpenter, form carpenter, frame carpenter, brick block and stone mason, concrete finisher, roofing, drywall, ceramic tile, cabinet making and finish carpenter (exterior and interior) as well as an introduction to construction management and scheduling. Proficiency will be developed in basic layout skills, reading working drawings and basic estimating, forming, framing, cornice, and interior and exterior finish in both residential and commercial construction. Completers of this program are prepared to enter the work force at various levels of apprenticeship training or to move on to construction management programs.
